What We Do

One of the purposes of the IBTEDA, as stated in its Charter, is "to achieve co-operation in solving in problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character." IBTEDA’s first did this in the aftermath of the Rohingya migration in 2017 on the devastated country, which it helped to settle. The Organization is now relied upon by the social community to coordinate humanitarian relief operations due to natural and man-made disasters in areas beyond the relief capacity of authorities alone.

IBTEDA collected and distributed all the necessary food, sanitary, hygiene, and medical assistance to help the flood victims during Patna Flood in Bihar in 2019. More than 2000 people received financial aid on Humanitarian ground.

Our Impact

Children with disabilities are one of the most marginalized and excluded groups in society. Facing daily discrimination in the form of negative attitudes, lack of adequate policies and legislation, they are effectively barred from realizing their rights to healthcare, education, and even survival.

The equity-based approach is one of the foundations of our disability agenda, the main goals of which are too mainstream disability across all of our policies and programs – both in development and humanitarian action – and to develop leadership on the rights of children with disabilities, building capacity among staff and partners.
